Still Sick

I was so excited that I was feeling better yesterday. I even went to Danny's & helped out with our school's dedication. However, I think the dedication did me in because I am horribly tired again today. :o( So tired you start to fall asleep while chewing food. Ugh, this is unreal.

Come to find out that this is probably the same thing Danny had. I remember her being so tired. She was even ready to be checked for mono. Thankfully, she got better after about 3weeks. Good thing is that I know there is an end. Bad thing... I just hope it's not 3 weeks (meaning 2 more weeks left).

It's discouraging, but what can you do?

So no exercise again today. Slept.

Exercise yesterday was
30 ball squats & throws (10lb)
30 squats lifting 45lb? weight
30 thrusters w/ 2 20lb dumbells
then 20 each, 10 each
This should have only taken about 8min for me but it took 17! haha All you can do is laugh. :oP
My heart rate was 160-175. Funny that that is when I know I am working hard and I wasn't even doing that much.
I'm interested in learning more of what affects the heart rate change so much. Some days I will do that exact same workout but my heart rate isn't as high and thus don't burn the same amount of calories. I wonder what affects it? Hmm.

Then 50 sit ups into a jump.
Not the best of my workouts but it kicked me.

Today my food wasn't where is should be again due to being sick. Though I did find myself giving in more than before. I will conquer this... just not tonight. It is bed time.
Good night to all! And sweet dreams.

Ps. Anyone else now dreaming of working out? Too funny. You would think you get enough during the day. :oD

Ahhhh yes I did and I think I wrote about it in one of my journals. It was really wierd; I actually had an audience staring at me while on the treadmill. What the heck? LOL So my new business is called Madison Handbags. I am so excited about it and can't wait to spread the word. It just hit Maryland and I am ready to take over the state and hopefully flow over in to others as well. Right now it is only in the Northern states. I added Pro BCAA to my supplements...pink lemonade....LOVE IT.....yum yum :)

Keeping the food on track when you're sick is so hard. You just want to be comforted and egg whites aren't that comforting!!! Get some rest, lots of water and you'll be back in the game!!!

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Not the best of old western movies, I'd say, but it's an awesome title. :oD

So the bad always makes you appreciate the good oh so much more... Last week I was feeling tired during workouts but was thinking it was just a hard week. It happens to the best of us. I was the same on Saturday, except I started a bit of a headache.
Come Sunday I was down for the count. I have been sooooooo tired and exhausted. Just going from the chair to the bed did me in. With body aches and congestion (Mucinex has held it at bay, yea!), I have not been this sick for a very long time.
Lessons:
Obviously exercise is usually out of the question when sick but what about eating? You should still be able to eat right, right? Of course! (unless it's the stomach flu then nothing is work haha). However, it's easier said than done. Eating great is so much HARDER when you don't have the energy to fix anything, let alone eat it. This has been a great challenge to fight through. You realize how important pre-fixing meals are. (I learned that this last week, but that's another story).

Unfortunately, my pre-fixing meals day is on Sundays... so I had nothing pre fixed or measured for myself. Thanks to a great husband & mother-in-law I still had dinner for myself and my family.... I should let my fabulous mother cook us chicken soup for tomorrow, hehe. :oD (I'm so lucky to have family close!!!)... But when you don't feel well, who wants healthy food? Correction: you may want healthy food but don't want to fix it...What's the solution here?
Anyone have any good ideas?

Needless to say, I didn't eat exactly what I was supposed to be I was closer than I could have. Well, I take that back I haven't eaten much so I'm still okay.... I think. :oP

Okay okay. I am emotionally feeling better today but my mind is still toast and body still exhausted and I fear I am not making sense so I will stop and save you the torcher of reading the ramblings of an un- intelligible sickly.
Good night and I pray I feel much better tomorrow…. I WILL! (positive thoughts, right? Hehe)

Ps. I'm sure when I read this later I will laugh at my incoherancy.. therefore I giv eyou permission to laugh as well.
