I have been a wife to a wonderful supportive husband for the last 12 yrs. A mother of 3 FABulous kids for the past 10 yrs. I am privileged to be able to stay home with them. Though I stay home I am VERY busy between life, family & church. And LOVING (almost) every minute :oD

A Day


I couldn't think of a good title so there... it was a day. A good day but a day.
Didn't work out but did more important stuff.
Meals were perfect! Even got all 6 of them in.

Thankfully I wasn't nearly as sore today. Helped at the kid's school, as usual on Thursdays. It's MY time!

Then we had our last baseball game tonight. Man it's amazing everything in the lost and found from 500+ kids and their families, haha. Too funny. It's such an undertaking but it's so worth it. Glad it's done until the fall when we have soccer, then we will be excited and ready to go again.

Got home just a little bit ago (10:15pm) and need to head to bed.

PAIN :oD


It feels so good to be back training hard. Though I have to keep myself off the stairs :o( and watch my movements (jumping, twisting, full sit ups) I have been kick'n it! But I am sooooooooo sore that I can barely move haha.

I did HIIT workout with my legs on Monday. It was so hard. I felt drugged. Why? Sugar. Sugar. Oh and Easter Candy. It was the worst feeling. I had Easter candy for my cheat meal on Sunday.... This is why I am having no more cheat meals LOL. I only get sick. Arg. :oD

Yesterday, trained with Danny, did arms and 1hr treadmill. My arms were shaking and jello-y. I thought for sure i would feel it today. But NO. I am still sore from Monday's legs. Crazy, I didn't think I did much because I was so O.D.ed.

Today, trained with Danny, legs w/ HIIT & 45min elliptical & then walked with a friend for 30-45min around block.
Danny had me do her 3rd challenge she made up. Man, I was slow but it was good considering I haven't done much cardio or weights for 3 weeks.

Pop Squats on step (modified for me)
Mt. Climbers
Jump rope (modified to squats)
Straddle planks
Falling push-ups
You do 50 each, 40 each, 30, 20, 10

Great on meals today. I did treat myself to 1c of milk though.

No Cheat Meals??!


Okay so I might relent and give in to no cheat meals. Of course my trainer is happy but I'm hesitant and so is my husband (more than me). He explained... If I'm going 60mph and doing great why go 90mph to get there 5min faster? When if you crash and burn (ie caving to cravings) the crash is worse?
Good question.
However, I want to win (okay I said it. Yes I do, but who doesn't? Granted I wouldn't change this experience for anything and whether I win or not it is awesome! But I'm sure everyone on here wants to win, at least in the back of their mind, right? haha :oD). Anyway, I want to do it for my trainer as well as for myself. She has had so many clients so close but not win yet. They have all been in the top 10 and one was 2nd place last year? Anyway, she rocks and I want to prove that I can do it. So i think I WILL go that 90mph and take the risk.
What's life without risk and obstacles?

So nice to be back on doing intense cardio & weights again. Can't wait to do some more tomorrow. I am so sore and it feels so good.

MM Support Rocks


Jillian Michaels has her podcast going again, so excited. (look up The Jillian Michaels' show on itunes)
Just listened to one about help and support. It is so important to have help. You canNOT do it alone. We are in such a society that, especially women, are feeling they have to prove that they can do it all by themselves, but we can't. And we aren't suppose to.

I am not afraid to ask for help. I could not do it without everyone's help. The support here on MM from all of you has been AWESOME! Every time read journals makes me more motivated. I know I can do it.
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!!! I COULDN'T DO IT WITH OUT YOU!

We are almost there! Let's rock it the rest of the way!!! Blow 'em outta the water. Never give up and HAVE FUN!!
