Awesome Ends with ME

I have been a wife to a wonderful supportive husband for the last 12 yrs. A mother of 3 FABulous kids for the past 10 yrs. I am privileged to be able to stay home with them. Though I stay home I am VERY busy between life, family & church. And LOVING (almost) every minute :oD

Sick, Sweet & Style

I got sick what seems like a month ago. It went away but the cough came back. i finally found out yesterday that I have bronchitis but I'm still kickin' it. I have still been doing the stairmaster like crazy (well compared to what I use to do). I usually pay with coughing for quite some time after but it's worth it. I've been able to do 1hr at a time!!!! Woohoo! I start and stop a lot (like 30sec or 1min stops) but I get it done. Friday, I even burned 1500+ calories! Sweet deal

Fears we need to over come... Many people over weight are scared to go to the gym because they think they are "too fat". The gym is medicine for those of us who are not perfect. Just as church is a place for sinners and not saints haha (if that makes sense). We are ALL working to become better.
If you spend any amount of time in the gym you realize how many overweight people DO go. I love looking for those members who are over weight but are there everyday. It inspires ME!! The days I go at 12:30 I am always looking for the Nutty Professor. This man looks just like the Nutty Professor played by Eddie Murphy. He makes me smile everytime I see him. He is ALWAYS there on the same treadmill every day. It makes me proud inside. He is an inspiration.
Something I struggled with originally was not having cute gym clothes or even clothes that match, haha... One day (at the end of this challenge) I will be skinny enough I feel like I can spend the money to buy cute matching workout clothes. haha

Today, I went to yoga again. I forgot how much I love it. It's been about 6 months since last time I went. I usually have Danny Monday mornings. Then I did stairs for 1hr again!! Level 4 Woohoo!!1
