Learning Curve - Crappy Day

Talk about a crappy day.
It's amazing what we learn. We think we have it figured out and then something happens. We then realize we don't have all the answers. This contest... this journey... this whole thing... our life... is just one big learning curve.

It's for sure a learning experience when you have an injury. It's a bigger learning experience when you have an injury AND working on losing weight; trying to correct what you have already done wrong with your body.

I thought I was doing good and handling everything well. Being sure not to do too much, to push it over the edge. Not allowing myself to do things I REALLY want to do... and then... Bamm! It strikes again. The pain in my back is bad enough I couldn't exercise today. I barely made it around the block without tightened muscles. Losing weight & strengthening the back muscles is suppose to help this injury not hinder it. Still learning what I can and can't do. Learning more about exercising. Learning more about weight loss. Learning more about muscles. Learning more about myself.

Okay enough complaining... Now it's time to learn more, I guess...

Meals were good. Could have eaten more. Praying tomorrow will be better.

This is a learning experiance. I thought I knew it all with my years of playing college sports and just being an athlete. I was wrong. I learned more in the past 4.5 months then I did in 20 years. I hope your back gets better. I have been there and done that...2 epidural injections later I am all good now. Good luck.

I feel your pain. I have been through it with this challenge and am finally back and hitting it hard, still not 100% not sure if it ever will be but I'm working through it. Exercising is the easy part, it's the eating that I have troubles with. Hang in there, it will get better.

I'm praying that you will wake up with a renewed strength in your back. I know how frustrating it can be. I pulled my adductor muscle the other day in crossfit and thought "Oh hell no! This is NOT taking me down!" I iced it all night and thankfully it feels better. I'm wishing you a quick recovery...stay on top of your nutrition and work the areas that don't bother your back. Give it the needed time to heal.
    Hugs, Clarity & Strength...Erin
