Wow! What a great day. Did an awesome workout with friends.
I am liking this voting thing... I already knew I had the best of friends (sorry everyone but i found them first but I guess I could share hehe) in the world but I love them even more!! Plus I learned that I have actually inspired some people. REALLY? Wow. Most of them actually inspired me first, so I THANK THEM first for all!!!!!
I voted for all you, my friends. Everyone has come such a looong way. If you stuck out the last 6months and are still hangin' you have learned so much and made a personal transformation! I am proud of all of you and THANK YOU for all the help and motivation you have given me to make it this far. <3 You all deserve a 5 for all the changes and effort you have put in!
My son just told me, as I was holding him, that he likes the way I am now (hence he didn't want me to keep changing).
I laughed and asked "what way?"
He pinched & pulled out my arm "extra tissue" and said "like this."
"Fat?"
"Yeah"
I had to laugh and ask "why?"
"Because when we are cold you warm us up."
I said, "Don't worry I will still be able to keep you warm when I'm skinnier."
"But i like you like this." He said something along the lines of he doesn't know anything else. That's when i realized...
"You guys have never seen me skinny, have you? Well, you are in for a treat!"
This is for you my fabulous Kiddos!!!!! I love you soo much!!!!
Cardio:
Recumbent bike random level 12. I never thought highly of these but my (pregnant) friend needed to do it so I thought I would give it a try. Talk about sore legs haha.
I tried free weights today since I had a spotter & someone with me so I didn't look like a dork standing there not knowing what to do around all the BIG Boys LOL
Amazing how much a difference free weights are. So much harder. Though I have to lower my weight, I think I like them better. Trying to stablize them makes it that much harder. Push Weights:
*Chest press 70lbs 12x3
*Declined shoulder taps 30x3
*Lateral Raises 10lb 12x2
*Lunges 20
*Over head tricep 30lbs 15x3
*Side plank reach thru (I don't know what they're called. You thread the needle w/ your arm) 15 each arm x3
*Beach body ab workout. KILLER
*Leg Press 195lb 30x3
*Burpees w/o the jump 10x3

Free weights are so awesome. they are harder to do but involve LOTS of supporting muscles so you get nice results, less injurys if you do them right and they help with life stuff like chopping down trees, pushing dead cars out of the middle of the road, etc. Get a trainer to show you some stuff if you can, my son helps me.
