So the bad always makes you appreciate the good oh so much more... Last week I was feeling tired during workouts but was thinking it was just a hard week. It happens to the best of us. I was the same on Saturday, except I started a bit of a headache.
Come Sunday I was down for the count. I have been sooooooo tired and exhausted. Just going from the chair to the bed did me in. With body aches and congestion (Mucinex has held it at bay, yea!), I have not been this sick for a very long time.
Lessons:
Obviously exercise is usually out of the question when sick but what about eating? You should still be able to eat right, right? Of course! (unless it's the stomach flu then nothing is work haha). However, it's easier said than done. Eating great is so much HARDER when you don't have the energy to fix anything, let alone eat it. This has been a great challenge to fight through. You realize how important pre-fixing meals are. (I learned that this last week, but that's another story).
Unfortunately, my pre-fixing meals day is on Sundays... so I had nothing pre fixed or measured for myself. Thanks to a great husband & mother-in-law I still had dinner for myself and my family.... I should let my fabulous mother cook us chicken soup for tomorrow, hehe. :oD (I'm so lucky to have family close!!!)... But when you don't feel well, who wants healthy food? Correction: you may want healthy food but don't want to fix it...What's the solution here?
Anyone have any good ideas?
Needless to say, I didn't eat exactly what I was supposed to be I was closer than I could have. Well, I take that back I haven't eaten much so I'm still okay.... I think. :oP
Okay okay. I am emotionally feeling better today but my mind is still toast and body still exhausted and I fear I am not making sense so I will stop and save you the torcher of reading the ramblings of an un- intelligible sickly.
Good night and I pray I feel much better tomorrow…. I WILL! (positive thoughts, right? Hehe)
Ps. I'm sure when I read this later I will laugh at my incoherancy.. therefore I giv eyou permission to laugh as well.
